Welcome!!

We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better.

Clearfield County Senior Environment Corps (CCSEC) is a group of persons, mostly aged 55 or older, which are environmenatlly conscience. Some of the environmental activities that CCSEC is involved in include water monitoring and public education. Although CCSEC members come form varied backgrounds, they come together for one main reason - to make our environment a better place to live for ourselves and future generations.

CCSEC members learn training for stream assessment as well as chemical monitoring. Here CCSEC members Eunice Marvel and Olive Plubell train for macro-invertibrate assessments at Parker Dam State Park. Parker Dam State Park's Naturalist Eric Rensel gives CCSEC members some macro-invertibrate tips.
